The Castle VibA8 hand-held vibration meter is fully compliant with the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005 and makes Hand and Arm Vibration Assessments simple and straightforward. Designed with the application and ease of use in mind the Castle VibA8 performs all the required calculations for you to make your HAVS exposure assessments accurately and efficiently.

 

Monitoring is crucial to prevent vibration induced health issues such as Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS), which causes vascular, neurological, and musculoskeletal damage. Minimising exposure ensures worker safety, compliance with regulations and maintains productivity by mitigating the risk of long-term disabilities and work-related injuries.

 

The instrument is supplied with a detachable tri-axial accelerometer for HAVS assessments with the flexibility of being able to add a Whole-Body Vibration (WBV) seat-pad sensor at any time. Featuring an intuitive interface with real-time measurements the VibA8 delivers the ultimate practical solution to quantifying the vibration levels of tools and equipment on your site.
