The Castle dBAir Class 1 Environmental sound meter has been designed to enable the user to carry out simple and effective noise assessments for a wide range of applications. The instrument comes configured with predefined measurement templates, giving you the assurance that you’re measuring the correct parameters for each of your specific assessments.
BS 4142:2014 Assessment
The Castle dBAir has all the functionality necessary for BS 4142 assessments and compliance reporting, including statistical parameters, the ability to measure overnight if required and optional weather monitoring.
Construction Assessment
Construction noise is a special application because it covers a range of tasks from Planning Conditions to BS 5228 Assessments and from Complaints and Occupational Noise Measurements.
Boundary Assessment
The Castle dBAir is ideally suited to being left unattended for a few hours to weeks at a time. Suitable for monitoring construction site, nuclear power stations, or factory boundaries.
Railway Assessment
The Castle dBAir is well suited to noise monitoring applications where mechanical noise is the cause of complaints in residential areas.
